چکیده

یکی از جدی‌ترین معضلات دنیای صنعتی، آلودگی فلزات سنگین است. سرب به عنوان یک فلز سنگین، حتی در مقادیر اندک، اثرات بسیار مخربی بر سلامت انسان دارد. از این‌رو، حذف آن از آب، از مهم‌ترین چالش‌های سیستم سلامت عمومی است. کاربرد میکروارگانیسم‌ها در این زمینه بسیار مفید و بی‌خطر است. موجودات ساکن بر روی زمین به طور مداوم تحت تاثیر نیروی جاذبه قرار دارند و در صورت تغییر آن، تحت تاثیر شوکی منحصر به فرد قرار خواهند گرفت. چنین تغییری از طریق مداخله با مسیرهای بیوشیمیایی و بیان ژن، اثراتی را بر ساختار و عملکرد سلول‌ها دارد. بررسی این تغییرات علاوه بر حفظ سلامت فضانوردان، برای بهبود کیفیت زندگی انسان بر روی زمین نیز مفید خواهد بود. در این مطالعه، کارایی باکتری Lactobacillus acidophilus ATCC 4356 در حذف زیستی سرب از محلول آبی در شرایط میکروگراویتی و جاذبه مریخ مورد بررسی قرار گرفت. نتایج حاصله نشان دهنده کاهش غلظت سرب پس از تیمار 24 ساعته به میزان 1/82% تحت شرایط میکروگراویتی، 6/79% در شرایط شبیه‌سازی شده جاذبه مریخ و 6/70% در شرایط جاذبه طبیعی زمین بود. از این‌رو، با کاهش جاذبه می‌توان به افزایش کارایی L. acidophilus در حذف زیستی فلز سرب کمک نمود
